The beta is closed: the game asks for an invite code when it opens. Ask for one on TikTok, on Instagram (@aztecflag on both) or on Facebook. No code, no entry.

THE CONTROLS

Keyboard. On phones the game has its own on-screen controls, and with a controller connected you get the stick.

EACH PLAYER'S STATS

Every player has 8 stats from 1 to 99. You change them in TEAMS, on the STATS tab: raising them spends the team's available points, lowering them gives them back.

Dropped a pass? It's not a bug. Low HANDS drop more, and the game has a pinch of bad luck, just like a real field. Height counts too: taller players win the high balls.

THE VISUAL AIDS

The trail behind the ball, the arc while you charge a pass and the dotted blue line of scrimmage are purely visual. They aren't powers and don't change how the ball flies or gets caught; they just help you read the game.

For more realism, turn them off in SETTINGS with GAME ASSIST. The routes painted on the grass always stay: they're part of reading the play, in the same colors as the playbook and the buttons.

INTERNET AND SAVES

The web version needs internet to load. The Android and iOS apps play offline once installed.

Your teams and plays are saved in the browser, so they survive closing the tab. If you clear the site's data, they go with it.

KEEP IT AS AN APP

Save the game to your home screen: it opens full screen, with its icon, no typing the address.

iPHONE / iPAD
  1. Open juega.aztecflag.com/en/ in Safari.
  2. Tap the share button, the square with the up arrow.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen.

It has to be Safari: the browser inside TikTok or Instagram won't let you.

ANDROID
  1. Open juega.aztecflag.com/en/ in Chrome.
  2. Three-dot menu, top right.
  3. Choose Add to Home screen (sometimes it says Install app).

If you'd rather play offline, get the .apk from aztecflag.com.

COMPUTER
  1. Open the page in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Look for the install icon on the right of the address bar.
  3. Click Install and it becomes its own window.

In Safari on Mac it's File, Add to Dock.
